We went to this place for the first time yesterday. I ordered original double steak burger with cheese, my husband had same one with bacon, kids ordered cheeseburger and grilled cheese.
We waited for quite long time maybe about 10 minutes. Burger was good but not as good as I thought it would be.. as I was seeing so many people lined up and drive thru was packed I thought it was gonna be great but it was just okay. Patties were very thin. I just didn't understand what the excitement was about with his place.
At the end of our meal, we ordered custard. Waited for like another 15 minutes just to get 3 custards and we couldn't wait any longer with the kids so we looked over the counter and there were like 3 other customers waiting and finally someone noticed them and they were totally surprised like they forgot to make any of those orders. That's when the big guy came in and started making custard. After about 5 more minutes our number got finally called.
We ordered Hawaiian delights with toasted coconut. (Sorry no pictures) it was very good. That's about it. -

We tried out Freddy's today, which was opening day, and it seemed like half of Corpus was there.
Given that this was opening day, the lines for both in restaurant and drive thru were really long, but the staff handled it well. What was more impressive was the attitudes and attention the employees gave. During our time seated, employees stopped at our booth multiple times, inquiring if we needed anything, and if everything was okay.
We had a double Steakburgers California style combo and a crispy chicken sandwich combo. Both were excellent, and we will definitely visit Freddy's again. -

Went in thinking it would be good. Had heard some good things about the place...but instead...it was just ok. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger...it was just fine. Nothing spectacular about it. We even tried the turtle sundae...total disappointment. They put the hot fudge and caramel under the ice cream...who does that? Also the employees weren't very friendly and I guess they allow their employees to sit among the guests and be loud...Horrible experience.! I wont be wasting my time or money by going back!!!

I have been here many many times. We didn't mind the wait because it was worth it. We have been here when they have run out of meat. Customer service is not as positive as it used to be and it has been open only a short time. But what really upset me was when i ordered a nutter butter cookie sandwich. I took it home and cut it in half and there was a hair in it. I don't know how these are prepared because it was in a sealed package. So it was either wherever they had it shipped from or the store itself made them there, either way it was disgusting. I emailed corporate and have not received a response. even more disappointed now.

First time visit for three of us. We drove up and ordered three custards. The woman taking the order repeated the order three times and we had to correct her each time. When we got to the pay window, it was no better. I had a plain concrete, which is the only order that came out correct. She neglected to provide one of us a spoon, and the other passenger, who ordered a Heath concrete with shipped cream and a cherry, didn't get any whipped cream or a cherry. C'mon guys. Really? Two stars. Try again. Not happy.
